Sequential Website Redesign
This project started as an exercise for a school project in which the students were tasked with finding an existing product website and redesigning the UI. I chose to create some designs for what the Sequential website could look like because I love their synthesizers, and they have some great history to tap into for inspiration.
The Client: Sequential is a company that makes synthesizers. They have been a respected synthesizer maker since the 1970s, and they are super cool.
Problem: Their current website does not do the brand justice and could benefit from a design refresh.
Solution: Redesign this product website. Give it a refreshed visual feel and improve the overall user experience through good design and clear hierarchy.
My Role: UI, UX, & Visual Designer

The Process
Wireframes
The redesign process started by creating wireframes for some of the most used areas of the site.
Inspiration
I put together a mood board of visual designs that represented the brand well. The goal was to represent the brand as creative, fresh, and intuitive. The brand has also been around for more than 50 years, so some visual callbacks to previous decades were included.
Initial Design
The next step was to create a few mockups for the main brand slide in Photoshop to decide which style direction to go in.
Figma Components
I created components in Figma for the hi-fi wireframes. This included the navigation bar and footer, some buttons and variants, and a product card. That's my hand, too!
Final Design
The wireframes were styled using the components and new brand colors. Some textures from Adobe Stock were manipulated in Photoshop and used to add more character to the site.
